Background in education

Guhlin has worked in K–12 education for more than 30 years. His background includes teaching bilingual and ESL learners, leading district technology programs, and helping educators use technology. He holds a master’s degree in Bicultural/Bilingual Studies. Read more at MGuhlin.org.

Giving back to classrooms

DrawSplat is a way to give back to K–12 education through free, open-source tools. The focus includes multilingual classrooms, where students can show what they know through pictures, writing, and spoken explanations. Teachers can adapt the tools and activities to their learners.

Schools can also host the software themselves. A self-hosting school operates its own service and is responsible for its accounts, student records, and privacy procedures. See Licensing and District privacy review.

Support the project

DrawSplat software is free. Optional contributions help support ongoing development. Support DrawSplat on Buy Me a Coffee. A contribution is not required to use the apps.
